Texas was a whirlwind of fast cars, live music, street food, and incredible people. What was meant to be a one week stop ended up lasting for over a month, and in that time I was fortunate enough to find a fabulous community and make art that I’m proud of. Texas reminded me that I’m no stranger to the dance floor, couch surfing can be hit or miss, and sleeping with strangers (AKA staying in hostels) can lead to some of the best memories.
